As I reached 51 I was starting to realise that if I didn’t do something about my general fitness, stamina & flexibility I was storing up problems for my later years. I’d been talking about it for some time but done nothing about it because me & exercise aren’t a comfortable fit. My husband saw an advert for She-Fit in our local magazine and offered to pay for a package of 10 hours as my birthday present – so I had an initial visit to the studio to meet Charlotte and talk about what I wanted to achieve and then had the free first session to see if it was something I could commit to ..................19 weeks later my body fat, BMI and blood pressure have reduced; I am the lightest weight I have been in 20 years; the best shape I have been since my 20s (I now have defined muscles in my stomach) and I’m nearly touching my toes (when I started I could only reach just below my knees !).

And, I’m enjoying it !

I still have a way to go to get rid of all my wobbly bits – still have an issue with my arms ! – but because I saw results quickly I know I will get there if I stick at it. What works for me where no gym or exercise class has (and I’ve wasted a lot of money over the years trying these) is that Charlotte finds exercises that target my aims, no exercise lasts for more than a few minutes before moving to the next so you never get bored, if something hurts where it shouldn’t, Charlotte always has an alternative and she always knows when you really can’t do anymore and counts you down so you know it is coming to an end!  In the few months I have been working out with Charlotte I have done a bit of boxing, kick-boxing, cardio work, free weights, yoga poses/stretches and worked hard on my abs.

It isn’t easy but if a couch potato like me can get enthused by it, then anyone can. I have had more compliments in the last few weeks than ever before – the only downside is that nothing in my wardrobe fits anymore – I’ve dropped a dress size, now wear skinny jeans and have the confidence to wear smaller bikinis - but since when has shopping been a bad thing!

I started training with Charlotte in 2012, after a long period of
ill-health.

A pre-defined fitness class would not have been appropriate because my health was (and still is) inconsistent. Instead, Charlotte devised a personalised programme which allowed me to regain stamina, strength and flexibility. On the good days, the exercises and circuits I do now are advanced (boxing, kicking, VRK station.). Yet, on the bad days, I can still train, as Charlotte also uses yoga, swiss balls or gentle floor exercises. Whether I'm on top form or not, Charlotte is always encouraging.

Another great benefit of personal training with Charlotte is that timings are flexible: with a business and a family to run, this is invaluable!

Last but not least, Charlotte is great fun and a real woman's woman! We have a laugh and put the world to rights, while enjoying a good workout to lively music. Perfect!

I started training with Charlotte after the birth of my second child. Initially I wanted to lose some of the 'baby weight' I had gained during pregnancy, but what has been achieved in the time I've spent with Charlotte has been nothing short of amazing.

The obvious benefits of a personal trainer such as muscle toning and weight loss are inevitable.  What I have achieved in the six months I've been with Charlotte have far outweighed my wildest dreams.  I feel more confident and less stressed.  I feel stronger, fitter and happier with my body shape now than when I was in my twenties - or even my teens! Friends, family and colleagues have all noticed a difference in not just my size, but my posture and genuine all round self belief.

The training with Charlotte is tough, but fair as well as being good fun. Charlotte has an uncanny ability to motivate and spur you on but knows when enough is enough and stops just when you think you can't do another rep! Each training session is different - in the time I have spent with Charlotte there's not a session that goes by when we don't do anything new.  This keeps the interest and drive to go that one step further.  The results speak for themselves - I have dropped two dress sizes and had fun whilst doing so!

Charlotte's knowledge and diverse training techniques are second to none.  My only regret is not starting sooner - if only I had known the positive impact on so many aspects of my life that this has brought. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I have been training with Charlotte for around 10 months.  I really enjoy the sessions and I like the way she keeps them varied so I never know what's coming next!  

I have seen my body shape change since I started training with her and I am just 6 lbs off shedding the last of the 4 and a half stone I put on whilst pregnant.  Charlotte has been key to this and keeps me motivated during the session but keeps them fun at the same time.  She works me very hard but this has really got the results I was hoping for.  I'm going to keep training with her after I reach my target as I really the enjoy the sessions and feel the fittest I have been in many years and I would really like to maintain this.
